Dunelm large rugs

Dunelm sells large and extra large rugs in sizes up to 200 x 290 cm. This page lists every Dunelm rug of around 160 x 230 cm and bigger in one place, with today's prices, so you can compare them and then click through to buy from Dunelm.

Sort this page by Price: low to high to see the cheapest large Dunelm rugs first, or by Biggest discount to see the ones that are reduced. Flat-weave and polypropylene rugs usually cost less than wool or thick shaggy styles of the same size.

In a large living room, choose a rug big enough for the front legs of every sofa and chair to sit on it - usually 200 x 290 cm or more. Under a dining table, allow about 60 cm of rug beyond the table on each side so the chairs stay on it when pulled out.

Dunelm's range runs from budget flat weaves to wool and plush-pile rugs from specialist brands, so quality depends on the rug. For a large rug that will take a lot of wear, look for wool or a dense pile, and read the customer reviews on Dunelm's product page before you buy.

Either works - what matters is contrast. A lighter rug brightens a dark carpet, while a darker or patterned rug anchors a pale carpet and hides marks better. A rug that is almost the same colour as the carpet tends to get lost.

Dunelm sells its own designs alongside rugs from specialist makers such as Asiatic, Think Rugs, Concept Looms and Nourison, plus designer ranges from Calvin Klein, Harlequin and Catherine Lansfield. The brand is shown at the start of each rug's name on this page.
